SLOW FASHION
SUSTAINABILITY
AT LULA LAORA WE VALUE SLOW FASHION.
We are on a mission to reduce our environmental impact by focussing on making small quantities of clothing, made-to-order/one of a kind pieces and through our up-cycle program.
Rebelling against a fast fashion cycle, we don't mass produce and always prioritise local businesses. Our slow fashion pieces are made from high quality fabric and created by skilled craftsmen.
UPCYCLED COLLECTIONS
Our dedication to the environment includes a zero-waste policy. We reuse our fabric scraps to make accessories and womenswear
We strive to upcycle all fabric offcuts throughout our collections; any unusable scraps are donated to local charity shops and fabric recycling initiatives.
FABRIC DONATIONS
The scrap fabric that doesn't go into the up cycle collection is donated to a local charity shop 'Crisis' who support individuals out of homelessness through education, training, housing, employment and health. Working with others, they plan to end homelessness for good.

PACKAGING
Our packaging is made of 100% recycled materials. Our mailers are made from biodegradable kraft paper and when packing fragile items we re-use and recycle protective packaging materials.
We encourage all our customers to re-use their Lula Laora packaging wherever possible to help reduce waste.
FACTORIES
All our items are designed and sampled in our London-based studio. We outsource production to carefully selected factories that we have evaluated on a sustainability and ethics basis.
